The rescue’s notes on Daizy

Meet Daizy Daizy is a sweet, sensitive girl who's looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe. While she may be shy and nervous around new people at first, underneath that cautious exterior is a smart, curious, and playful companion waiting to blossom. Once Daizy feels comfortable, she enjoys exploring the world around her and absolutely loves going for walks. She has an independent streak but also a gentle, affectionate side that shines through with time and trust. Daizy is good with dogs and kids, housetrained to use the doggy door, and crate trained. She's currently learning how to sit and is a smart girl who will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. Like many young or energetic dogs, Daizy is also a chewer, so she'll do best with plenty of appropriate chew toys, structure, and supervision as she continues learning. Her foster describes her as curious, independent, shy, smart, sensitive, and playful — a wonderful combination for someone willing to give her the patience she needs to truly come out of her shell.
