Meet Lita! Lita is a young female terrier mix (DOB: 4/1/2021) with a playful spirit and a smart, loving personality. She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she enjoys being around people and select dog friends. Lita is still very much a puppy at heart and loves to learn and play. What Lita knows: Housetrained Walks well on a leash Learning to play fetch Lita is a smart girl who would thrive with continued training—especially if treats are involved! She is also a heartworm survivor and has successfully completed treatment. She is now heartworm negative and ready for her next chapter in a loving home. Ongoing heartworm prevention will be important for her continued health. Lita's ideal home: Patient adopter to help her build confidence Someone willing to continue training and enrichment A calm environment with people (and possibly a compatible dog) Lita is a sweet, resilient girl who just needs the right person to help her shine.
