The rescue’s notes on OLIVE
Olive is a hound mix, approximately 6–8 years old and around 25 pounds, with a calm, gentle temperament and an eager-to-please nature. Once shy and unsure, she has blossomed with daily walks and is continuing to gain confidence. She is crate trained, walks well on a harness, and enjoys being out and about, though her strong prey drive means she must go to a cat-free home and requires a secure leash, especially around squirrels. Olive is happiest as a couch companion in a quiet home and would thrive with regular walks, supervision, and someone who can give her a calm, steady life—a fenced yard is a bonus but not required.
