About Bear
Bear is a German Shepherd Dog, approximately 6 years old, who was rescued from euthanasia at a Miami shelter. Initially labeled as touch-averse, he is actually a affectionate dog who bonds deeply with people he trusts, though he needs time to feel safe before accepting physical contact. Bear enjoys treats, toys, and cuddles from his people, gets along well with female dogs and relaxed male dogs, and is not suitable for homes with cats. He is a loyal, protective dog with strong instincts and does best in a home with someone experienced in the breed who can provide structure and leadership.
