Breed

Hey, friend! Hazel here.

I'm a petite chocolate girl with a big heart, seasoned enough to know what I want—long walks, cozy cuddles, and someone who'll teach me new tricks because I'm absolutely treat-motivated and genuinely eager to impress.

They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.

I won't fib — there's a little grey on my muzzle. "Older" just means I'm past the wild puppy chaos and all in on cozy company.

I've been holding down the fort in Queen Creek, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Halloween could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Hazel

About Hazel

MEET HAZEL Don't let her age fool you — Hazel may be around 10 years old, but this petite little girl still has plenty of pep in her step! At about 35lbs of pure love, she's playful, loves her stuffies, and would happily join you for hikes, long walks, or cozy nights at home. Hazel walks great on leash, knows sit, takes treats gently, and is very treat motivated — which means she would love learning even more tricks with her future family! She also knows how to use the doggie door to potty outside like a pro. This sweet senior girl absolutely loves people. She may start out a tiny bit shy, but give her a minute and she'll quickly become your best friend. Hazel would probably do amazing with another friendly, playful dog. Older kids are preferred since she gets excited during playtime and can be a little mouthy. Cats are unknown. Honestly, Hazel is such a hidden gem and a definite MUST MEET. She deserves a loving home where she can finally be spoiled and adored the way she deserves. Interested in adopting Hazel?
