About ASGEIR
Asgeir is a Great Pyrenees who is most comfortable outdoors and becomes anxious indoors; he was originally used to protect livestock and excels as a protective guardian, especially at night. He is sweet, gentle, and very smart, great with children of all sizes and gets along well with other large female dogs, though his compatibility with male dogs is unknown. Asgeir will growl to protect his food bowl but is a gentleman who will not eat others' food, and he is tolerant of cats though he may bark at unfamiliar ones. He has a hotspot on his back leg that he licks often and is under veterinary supervision, and he would thrive in a home with outdoor space and a secure setup where he can fulfill his protective nature.
