About DUKE #29
Duke is a sweet and affectionate Redbone Coonhound who loves attention from people he knows and trusts. Bred and raised as a livestock guardian, he is naturally alert and will quickly alert you to unusual noises, visitors, coyotes, or other animals nearby. He has lived outdoors year-round with his sister and has never been an indoor dog, but is eager to learn. Duke tolerates car rides and leash walks well, is leash trained and obedient, and may jump up occasionally when excited, though he is gentle about it.
