Psst… hi! COURTESY POST: Luna here.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.

I'm on the bigger side — but honestly, that's just more of me to hug.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — COURTESY POST: Luna 🐾

The rescue’s notes on COURTESY POST: Luna

Name: Luna Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix Age: Approximately 3 years old Vaccines: Up to date Any medical conditions: Allergies managed with a strict diet. Also working through some separation anxiety and confidence-building with continued force-free training. Neutered: Yes (spayed) Chip: Yes Temperament: Sweet, affectionate, goofy, loyal, playful, and very loving once she trusts you. Luna can initially be nervous around some new people (especially certain men) and does best with patient introductions and continued positive reinforcement training. She bonds deeply with her people and loves being part of the family. Enjoys: Belly rubs, sunbathing, toys, car rides, the beach, cuddling, rolling on her back, lounging like a couch potato, and playing with other dogs. Potty trained?: Yes Coat: Short coat Eyes: Brown Get along with dogs? Yes — very dog friendly and enjoys playful dogs, but can also do well as the only dog. Good with cats? Unknown. She has a high prey drive, so a cat-free home is preferred unless properly tested. Good with kids? Yes — has done very well with children, including toddlers and young kids. How long have you had the pet for? Approximately 7 months in foster care. Reason for rehoming? Luna was rescued from an urgent euthanasia list after being abandoned tied outside a gas station shortly after giving birth to puppies. She is currently safe in foster care through Hospitality Helping Hands Rescue and is looking for a committed forever home that will continue her training and give her the stability and love she deserves.
