The rescue’s notes on Maverick
Maverick joined us about three weeks ago as an owner surrender and we are taking some time to get know him. He is 3 years old, completely vetted and good with other dogs. He is not good with cats. He has been around kids ages 2-15 years and does well, but smaller children seem to intimidate him a little bit. He formerly lived with other dogs but after they passed away, he started having some separation issues (potty accidents) with being alone in the home. He started on some medications for that but since arriving at his foster home, he has gotten to be best friends with his foster fursister Rosie and foster mom is home a lot, so she has started to wean him off of his medications.
