Good morning! Izzy here.
I'm a loyal shadow who learns fast and loves you fiercely—just need a home where someone's mostly around, since being alone makes my heart hurt.
Apparently I'm a quick study — my notes mention I already know a trick or two.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I'm a Chandler local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Izzy

About Izzy
Izzy is a happy, easygoing pit bull terrier who loves attention and will stay by your side. She is friendly with dogs of all sizes and ages, crate trained for sleeping, house trained, and walks well on leash with no barking. Izzy is very food motivated, smart, and picks up commands quickly; she enjoys belly rubs, kiddie pools, and rolling in the dirt. She has high separation anxiety and cannot be left alone in a crate, and she will chew electrical cords when anxious; she is currently on medication to help manage this behavior and would benefit from continued training in a stable home. Izzy has congenital knee issues that are not currently causing pain, mild hip dysplasia on one side, and is on glucosamine; she will likely need pain management for arthritis as she ages. She was found in the desert, briefly adopted, and returned; she is now in a foster home and needs a committed owner who can provide companionship and help her feel secure.
