Oh, hello you! Scooby & Pepper here.
I've spent twelve years perfecting the art of companionship, and at my age, I've learned that a good home means staying with my brother and maybe one bone to call entirely my own.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I won't fib — there's a little grey on my muzzle. "Older" just means I'm past the wild puppy chaos and all in on cozy company.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Taunton.

About Scooby & Pepper
Scooby and Pepper are bonded 12-year-old dachshund brothers seeking a home where they can stay together. Both are house trained, excellent on leash and in cars, and friendly with other small dogs and older, respectful children. Scooby enjoys indoor play with toys and walks but resource guards his bones during meals and treats; he and Pepper have always been the only dogs in their home and would thrive as the center of attention, though they could live with another respectful, easygoing dog that respects Scooby's boundaries. Both brothers recently had dental procedures (Scooby had 13 extractions and removal of a small chest growth; Pepper had 18 extractions and removal of a large fatty tumor), full blood panels, and have recovered well; both are current on vaccinations and microchipped. Pepper enjoys chasing squirrels and chipmunks on walks and loves cuddling with his person, while Scooby's favorite activity is checking his toy box daily to ensure every squeaky toy still works.
