I was quiet at first, but now I bloom around people I trust—especially you, if you'll let me tap-dance my way into your heart with gentle kisses and endless cuddles.

About TRUMAN
Meet Truman! This handsome 2-year-old Husky has truly come into his own since arriving at the shelter. While Truman was a little reserved when he first came to us, he has blossomed into an affectionate, people-loving dog who is always excited to make new friends. One of the first things you'll notice about Truman is his adorable `tap dance.` The moment you stop by to say hello, he'll wiggle with excitement and dance on his toes, hoping you'll come over for some attention. And if you greet him with a little baby talk? Be prepared for plenty of happy face kisses!Truman is happiest when he's simply by your side. While toys don't do much to impress him, he absolutely loves pets, cuddles, and spending time with his favorite people. He's the kind of dog who's content to lean into you for affection and enjoy your company rather than entertain himself with a tennis ball. Instead of endless zoomies, he'd much rather enjoy a long, relaxing walk where he can sniff the world around him and take in all the sights and smells. He's also become quite the social butterfly with other dogs and genuinely enjoys canine companionship.If you're looking for an adventurous Husky who's just as happy to cuddle on the couch as he is to join you for peaceful walks, Truman may be your perfect match. Truman is currently looking for a home without children due to some resource guarding with food. He is currently in foster, so please reach out to the shelter to schedule an appointment to meet him!
