Morning, friend! Paisley dachshund mix here.

Long royalty, reporting for cuddles — stairs are my nemesis, laps are my throne.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

Born and (almost) raised right here in York.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Paisley dachshund mix

About Paisley dachshund mix

Meet Paisley! She is a dachshund yorkie mix who is 12 years old and weighs 12 pounds. Paisley is spayed, had dental surgery(lost 4 teeth), and has some skin issues that we have treated with antibiotics and apoquel. She will most likely need to take the allergy meds her entire life and could possibly have some more skin issues down the road. Other than the skin issues, she is a very healthy girl and don't let her age fool you! Paisley is very active and super sweet!! No small children, that is why she was surrendered. Here is what her owner had to say about her to set her up for success in her new, forever home... She answers to Paisley, Paisley Anne, P, P Anne, and Pinot (Grigio) Her birthday is 10-23-2014 She is chipped (I can send a picture of the info I have for that) She does "fancy" which is the typical dachshund begging thing where she stands up on her back legs/butt She also plays dead. You just have to "shoot her" and then say "Paisleys dead" She likes cuddling but not so much petting since she's so itchy. She will sleep on a pillow by your head. She is good with cats she kinda just ignores them She's okay with other dogs as long as they're not big. She gets small dog syndrome around bigger dogs She likes toys until she "kills" the squeaker then she could care less She's house broken as long as you stay on top of letting her outside. She won't really run away if she gets out the door but she's not the kind of dog to stay close by if that makes sense. She does not like little kids. She acts like she likes car rides until she gets in the car. Then she gets anxious and will whine most of the ride. She is spayed (she has the little green tattoo on her belly) She is crate trained and sometimes prefers to "hide" in one when she needs alone time. I think that's everything that I can think of. I trust she's going to find the very best home. Thank you for taking her ❤️ Here is the link to apply for Paisley: https://form.jotform.com/241745142308149
