Good morning! Griffin here.
Small, spicy, and fully convinced I'm a Great Dane.
My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.
I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I'm a Oakland local, just waiting on the right person.

About Griffin
Griffin is a sweet, sensitive pittie gentleman who is ready to find his forever home! He came to the shelter with some bumps and bruises, but he has shown his true colors as a friendly, loving guy. At just under 2 years old, we don't know what his life was like before he arrived at our door, but he has been earning rave reviews from his foster family while he's been recuperating. Griffin is house-trained, loves sleeping and napping in his crate (either with or without his favorite humans nearby), and is very food-motivated. Griffin is sometimes a little shy when first meeting new people, but he quickly blossoms into a sweet, friendly and wiggly pup. Especially if you've got some treats to share! He will proudly show off his 'sit' if it means getting a treat, and his 'look', 'leave it,' and 'wait' are all improving! He's a petite 52 pounds and has been friendly with other dogs.
