Psst… hi! Ginny here.

My nose runs the show — catch one good scent and you will absolutely hear about it.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I've been holding down the fort in Mooresville, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Ginny

About Ginny

GINNY is another great dog who hasn't found her forever home yet - but we know it's out there!!Ginny is a 2yr old hound mix, weighs 48lbs and is an absolutely wonderful girl who checks almost every box you could ask for in a dog: Great with dogs of ALL sizes Good with cats Loves humans of every size Sweet, affectionate, playful and social Smart and eager to be part of the family Would LOVE a home with other dogs Would make an AMAZING hiking or running companion for an active person or family!Ginny has the energy and adventurous spirit to keep up with someone who loves getting outdoors. Whether you're hitting the trails, going for a run, exploring a new park, or just looking for a four-legged adventure buddy, Ginny is ready to go!Ginny would thrive in an active home, especially one with another dog—or even a few! She genuinely enjoys canine companionship and would love having four-legged siblings to romp and play with.True to the breed, Ginny believes fences are merely suggestions. Ginny is an impressive jumper, so she needs a secure 6-foot privacy fence and supervision when she's outside. With a doggie playmate inside the yard, Ginny is less interested in what's outside the fence. We just can't understand how a girl who is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, people-friendly AND ready to be your next adventure buddy hasn't received a single application. Somewhere out there is the family GINNY has been waiting for. Maybe they just haven't seen her yet. Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt! Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
