Up late too? Hi. Mia III here.
I showed up looking like a senior discount special, then immediately disproved that theory by shadowing humans through cooking, car rides, and basically existing—turns out I'm six going on eternal puppy.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I'm a seasoned soul, which is a fancy way of saying I've perfected the art of the afternoon nap and the grateful sigh.
I've been holding down the fort in Austin, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Halloween could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Mia III

About Mia III
Hi! My name is Mia III! I am a 6 year old fawn girl that had a short stay in the shelter as an owner surrender due to a "new baby" in my old family. A volunteer saved me and now I am in a foster home and doing great! I am an "all energy" type of girl! My foster home expected a senior but I came packed with energy and alot of love to give! I love to be close to people or pets, go for car rides, snuggle, take part in any human activity (cooking, watching tv, playing computer, crafting, etc), have learned home routines well, and am enjoying being everyone's shadow! I enjoy being outside to sunbathe and most importantly, run! I love toys and the louder the better! I love water! Whether it's my entire face in the bowl or the hose outside, I will soak myself until I can't anymore! I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. While I love everyone, a home with older children who can maintain their balance due to me being a trip hazard would be best. I have very limited exposure with the senior cat in the home. I am extremely curious, but also hesitant with it. There are two resident dogs and I love playing and living among them. I play hard, can outlast even the youngest one, cuddle with them, and cannot picture myself without another dog in my forever home! It's not necessarily a recommendation but a requirement that I have a dog companion to play and relax with! I greet everyone with my whole body which I am actively working on polishing that manner and keeping all paws on the floor! If you think I would make a great addition to your family and you are consistent, patient and gentle in guiding me to be the best girl I can be, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
