Good afternoon! Gus here.
I was built to run, point, and lean on you like a 50-pound shadow.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I'm a Plainfield local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Gus

About Gus
A Sweet, Playful Boy Looking for His Forever Home Gus is a lovable 1-year-old boy who weights 60 lbs and who is ready to leave his rough start behind and begin the next chapter of his life with a family of his own. Gus is sweet, energetic, playful, intelligent, and affectionate. He loves wrestling with his foster fur-brothers and playing tug-o-war with their favorite toys. Gus is an athletic young dog who loves being outside and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys walks, adventures, hiking, exploring, and spending time outdoors. Gus isn't all go, go, go! After an exciting day, he is more than happy to curl up and snuggle with his people. He also has an appreciation for a soft bed, yummy treats, and the occasional pup cup! If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will be in touch! The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to ensure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe the breed, since our pups all come from shelters, we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *Please note that we are a foster home-based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
