I'm basically a golden retriever's overachieving cousin who knows sit, stay, and that pulling on the leash is technically a choice I make anyway.
My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.
I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

About Lila - HOLD
Animal Information: Lila is a 1-year-old Lab/Labradoodle mix who came to us as an emergency intake. Her owner was fleeing a domestic violence situation and sadly could not bring Lila with them. Lila has been very loved and well cared for her whole life, and we promised her family that we would find her a wonderful home. Lila is a happy, social girl who loves everyone she meets. She went to doggy daycare regularly and does great with both small and large dogs. She also lived with two children under 7 and absolutely loved them. She is crate trained, house trained, loves car rides, and knows basic obedience. She does need some work on her leash manners because she likes to pull, but she is young and eager to learn. She is also learning not to jump, but approaches everything in life with 12 out of 10 enthusiasm. Lila has the softest ears, the sweetest face, and such a loving personality. She is a really special girl who deserves a family of her own. We know the right home is out there for her, and we can't wait to see her find it. Foster Profile: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
