About Waylon
Meet Waylon! At 4 years old and just 11 pounds, Waylon is a little guy with a BIG love for his people! This sweet boy is a certified cuddle bug who would happily spend his days snuggled up next to his favorite humans. Personal space? He's not really familiar with that concept! Waylon can be a bit anxious and the big outside world can feel pretty scary to him. He's much more comfortable when he's close to his people, where he feels safe and secure. He'll need a patient, understanding family who can help him build confidence at his own pace and show him that the world isn't such a scary place after all. What Waylon lacks in confidence, he makes up for in affection. He loves being around humans and would thrive with someone who has plenty of love, patience, and cuddles to share. Waylon is one of 14 terrier mixes Hunter's Village Rescue welcomed from a heartbreaking hoarding case involving 85 dogs in Lake County. While we don't know everything about his past, we do know that this sweet little Rat Terrier is learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished.
