Duke is a stunning husky/shepherd mix with a survivor's spirit and a heart ready to trust again. After spending weeks roaming the streets of Stockton, he's finally safe — and now he deserves a home where he can exhale, settle in, and feel loved. At the kennel, Duke gets along well with the other dogs and is slowly learning that humans can be kind, consistent, and worth believing in. His gentle curiosity is growing each day, and once he feels secure, you'll see the loyal, affectionate companion he's meant to be. Duke would thrive with someone patient, steady, and willing to show him that the world isn't as scary as it once seemed. Give him time, guidance, and a soft place to land, and he'll reward you with devotion that runs deep.
