Rise and shine — hi! Mabel here.
I'm a 60-pound lap dog with a sharp mind and a softness you won't expect—give me patience and I'll steal your heart faster than you can say "good girl."
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I'm a Seattle local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Mabel

About Mabel
Animal Information: Mabel is an estimated 2-year-old, 60-pound female Malinois mix who wound up at the shelter as a stray. She had recently had puppies, and the responding officer believed she had been dumped in the area. When Mabel first arrived, she was very nervous and reserved in her kennel. With a little patience and encouragement from shelter staff, she slowly came out of her shell, and it didn't take long for everyone to discover that she was actually a total lap dog! Mabel also did well in playgroups. She started off shy and unsure, but with a little time, she warmed up and began enjoying herself with the other dogs. When Mabel's time at the shelter was up, we simply couldn't say no to giving this sweet girl a chance at the good life here in the PNW. We're so excited to see her chapter change from survival to the happy, loving life she deserves. Foster Profile: Coming Soon!
