Well, hello! Chestnut here.
Tiny, mighty, and the self-appointed mayor of the couch.
My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.
I've been holding down the fort in Ball Ground, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Chestnut

About Chestnut
Hey, Everyone! I'm Chestnut! Hi, everyone! I am new to the rescue so I'm still getting settled into my foster home, so my foster is learning all the little things that make me special! But there are a few things we already know for sure: I'm full-grown, fully vetted, and ready to find my forever home! ❤️ I came to the rescue with my sister Reece, and having her by my side has helped me feel so much safer and more comfortable in this big, new world. I'm a sweet boy who wants nothing more than to be loved, and I'm slowly but surely coming out of my shell! I absolutely LOVE treats, and I'm even starting to discover how fun toys can be! I'm still learning the ropes of house training. Since I spent time in a shelter where I didn't get to go outside every day, I had to use my kennel when nature called. With patience, consistency, and a little encouragement, I'm learning what it means to be a house pup! I may still be figuring things out, but I have so much love to give and can't wait to find a family who will give me the chance to shine. Could you be the one to give me my happily ever after?
