About Brownie
Brownie is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing 40 pounds with a sweet, affectionate personality. She is smart, knows several commands, and loves cuddling, playing fetch, going on walks and jogs, and relaxing with her people. Brownie gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, and would thrive best with another confident dog as a playmate. She is very fearful of men, particularly those with deeper voices or larger builds, and will do best in a female-only home where she can feel safe and build confidence; male visitors should ignore her and give her space rather than trying to interact. Brownie is making progress with housetraining, can stay home alone for a few hours, is still working on crate training, and may counter surf for food, so snacks should be kept out of reach.
