Hi, new friend! Benzo here.
Retriever rules: tennis balls are sacred, puddles are pools, and you are my entire world.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Aurora.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Benzo
About Benzo
Benzo is a 3-month-old Lab mix who is sweet, friendly, and playful with plenty of puppy charm. He loves toys, fetch, walks, and spending time with people, and he's known for his adorable prancing and dancing. He is almost house trained, doing well with kennel training, sleeps through the night, and already knows several commands including come, wait, leave it, off, down, and no. Benzo loves other dogs of all sizes and has done well with cats, though he hasn't met children yet; he can whine or bark when crated and is still working on not jumping on people, but is otherwise calm, affectionate, and eager to please. He came to the rescue as a stray from Houston, Texas, and would thrive in an active home that can continue his training; he especially loves having another dog around, as shown by his bond with his 6-year-old canine foster sister.
