Oh — hi! Peanut here.

Small, spicy, and fully convinced I'm a Great Dane.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Seattle.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Peanut

About Peanut

Animal Information: Peanut is a 4-month-old terrier mix who came into rescue locally after his owner experienced challenges with their mental health and a care provider stepped in to help. Peanut was purchased when he was only a couple of weeks old, much too young to be separated from his mother. He was sent home with a finger glove of mother's milk and became a bottle baby. Because he was raised as a singleton puppy without the opportunity to learn from his mother or other puppies, Peanut is still learning important social skills with other dogs. When introduced to other dogs, including puppies, Peanut was a little fearful at first but showed that he is resilient and willing to learn. He is now headed into foster care with an experienced foster and a balanced pack of dogs who can help teach him all about being a confident, well socialized puppy. Peanut loves to play, is eager to engage with his people, and is already started on his crate and potty training journey. He has so much potential and we are excited to watch him grow and learn in foster care. More information will be shared as we get to know this sweet little guy better! Foster Profile: Meet Peanut ! At just 5 months old , this incredibly handsome male puppy is a bundle of joy with a v ery cute, silly personality and lots of playful energy to share. Peanut's absolute favorite hobbies are playing with his toys , romping around outside , chewing on sticks , and chasing his own tail, which is guaranteed to keep you entertained. He is a true Velcro dog who loves hard and wants to be glued right to your side the moment playtime is over. Because Peanut was raised as a bottle baby , he has an incredibly deep bond with humans, though he is still learning how to properly navigate being around other dogs . For a young pup, Peanut already has an impressive resume; he has learned how to sit , is crate trained , sleeps through the night , and is doing great with his potty training . If you are looking for a smart, loyal, and hilariously fun companion to complete your family and help him grow into the best dog he can be, sweet little Peanut is ready to find his forever home! He is a bit vocal so not a good fit for apartments. We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a family with previous dog experience that is looking for their next adventure buddy. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
