Hey, friend! Cleo here.
Terrier energy: strong opinions, a real motor, and a heart three sizes too big.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
I'm a Statesville local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Cleo
About Cleo
Showing up to her finderâs home as a stray, with them reaching out to our Animal Control Officers to assist in helping her to find her family. Her finder did let us know just how friendly this sweet stray was and she was so excited when our officer arrived, to greet them! Sweet girl! Learning that her dog was here on the same day she came to be with us, this sweet girl's owner did reach out, letting us know that this was her dog - whom she had left in the care of a family member while she was away for training. She also let us know that a family member would be in the following day to reclaim her. Sadly, Cleo is still here and was never reunited with her family, as no one came for her. Because no one ever came for her and her stray hold has since been fulfilled, she is now looking for her forever family and is hoping they will find her sooner rather than later. Since she has been with us, she has met a slightly larger neutered male. She was a little nervous on the first nose to nose meeting, but she graciously allowed her friend to sniff her â politely returning the sniffs. We think that because her new friend was a little on the large side compared to her, it made her just a little nervous, but once she realized he was âgoodâ too, she shook off that nervousness. Please come and ask to meet this sweet girl in person, to see if her forever is meant to be spent with YOU! Meet and greets with other dogs and children are always recommended.
