Breed
Hi, new friend! Gidget here.
Retriever rules: tennis balls are sacred, puddles are pools, and you are my entire world.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Evergreen.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Gidget

About Gidget
Perfect Home Needed for this sweet little girl! At just 9 months old, Gidget has already had quite the journey. She found herself on death row in an overcrowded Alabama shelter. She was scared, sweet, and running out of time. Rescue partners saw something special in her and saved her life, even though they didn't have room for one more dog. And we're so glad they did. But here's the part that breaks our hearts a little. In rescue in Alabama, Gidget didn't have a single adopter interested in her. Enter EAPL. We brought her here to Colorado because we KNEW we could find this angel a perfect home. That's where you come in. Gidget is a 35-pound, mahogany-colored beauty with a gentle soul and a funny little secret: She thinks she's a lap dog. All 35 pounds of her. Personal space? Never heard of it. She's affectionate, loves walks, happily accepts grooming and treats, and gets excited about meeting new people and dogs. She's also a playful puppy who believes squeaky toys are one of life's greatest inventions. Gidget is still learning what it means to live inside a home. She's working on her house manners and needs someone patient enough to teach her. In return, she'll bring plenty of love, laughter, and probably a squeaky toy or twelve. Could Gidget be your girl? Her dream home would have an active, loving family, a fenced yard, plenty of attention, and maybe a canine sibling or two. Cats are still a mystery, but we can test her! She's spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her next chapter. Gidget's life was saved in Alabama. Now she needs someone to give her a life worth living. Apply to adopt Gidget at EAPL.com. Her adoption fee is $375
