Oh — hi! Spot here.
Small, spicy, and fully convinced I'm a Great Dane.
My file says I've got energy to spare — adventure buddy applications now open.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Statesville.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Spot
About Spot
Soft Spot for Spot! Observed lying in a field with his goats, Spotâs finder contacted us to assist in helping to locate his family. Spotâs owner was notified that he was at the shelter, as officers were familiar with his home. He is now with us, searching for his new family and this handsome boy canât wait to meet them! His previous owner let us know that loves children, but has a tendency to want to chase cars. Since he has been with us, we have learned that this sweet boy does pull some when walking him on leash, but that will improve with consistency of leash training. He is very friendly with all of our staff and was so easy to handle for his exams! He met a similar sized neutered male while on leash and he wasn't sure at first. This sweet boy soon loosened up and was super playful. When he first saw his new pal, he had a high, fast tail wag - was a little stiff as they sniffed each other, but with play bows from his new friend, the zoomies soon took over both of them! This precious boy is now ready to zoom his way into his forever familyâs life, who will keep him safe and away from chasing cars, goats or anything else and with them where he will be loved forever! Please come and ask to meet this sweet guy in person, to see if his forever is meant to be spent with YOU! Meet and greets with other dogs and children are always recommended. We donât know how he does with cats and have no way to test for this.
