Sweet Boy Searching for Forever- It's Nico!Showing up unannounced to his finderâs home and staying inside with her until officer arrival, Nico is on the search for his forever home. He was neither chipped nor had an ID tag, and no family came to reunite with him while he was on his stray hold here with us at the shelter. This sweet boy had some obvious dermatitis issues which can be caused by a number of factors, for which he is currently being treated and is responding well! He has gotten a bath to help with this irritation and did such a great job rub-a-dubbing in the tub! This sweet boy LOVES treats and is by all observation, housebroken!!Since he has been with us, he met a similar sized neutered male and he was very calm and tolerant of his new friend. Nico let him sniff all over without issue, then he just seemed to want to walk around sniffing the grass and wagging his tail - sweet boy! He walks great on leash, loves a good bath and is truly a sweet boy who is by all accounts, seemingly housebroken! If you can provide the forever that this adorable guy deserves, filled with love and the knowledge that he will never be a stray again, please come and meet him in person! We are a first come, first served and in-person adoption center located at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC.Hours: MondayâFriday 12â5 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.â2 p.m.Please only adopt if you can commit to forever spoiling him and loving him, Nico deserves only that. Meet and greets with other dogs and children are always recommended. We donât know how he does with cats and have no way to test for this.
