Hey, friend! Scout here.
Terrier energy: strong opinions, a real motor, and a heart three sizes too big.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm a Statesville local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Scout
About Scout
Coming to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of his own, Scout is searching for his true forever family! This sweet boy is a true lover of human affection and will even ignore playtime with his canine pals, to solicit all the human pets! He is super easy to both leash and walk, but be careful⦠he likes to randomly put on the brakes in the hopes that you will pick him up and carry him. We do our best oblige this âbrake checkâ, not always able to give in to his âcarry meâ antics. His favorite pastime is lying in the grass, soaking up the sunshine with humans while receiving gentle pets until both he and the human are almost asleep. Donât ask us how we know this⦠we just know, okay?? He is working to add some weight, coming to us very underweight, so watch those fingers when giving a treat. He has met canine pals since arriving to us and did great, all tail wags and sniffs for everyone! His sights are always set on the humans present for such meetings, but he is always friendly and playful to his canine pals, too!Come and meet this sweet boy in person if you know for sure that forever is what you have to give Scout, with all the love and spoils he deserves!
