Hi, new friend! Spud Potato here.
I'm a one-of-a-kind mix — basically the best surprise in the building.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I've been holding down the fort in Boston, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Spud Potato

He loves wrestling with his foster brother, chasing toys, and running around the yard, but once playtime is over, he's more than ready to settle in for a nap or some cuddle time. Friendly and outgoing, Spud greets new people with enthusiasm and is always excited to make new friends. This lovable pup approaches life with confidence and a wagging tail and will bring immeasurable amounts of joy to one lucky home.Spud enjoys the company of other dogs and thrives in a social environment where he can play and interact with canine companions. With his happy-go-lucky disposition, Spud has coexisted well with cats. Spud's friendly nature makes him a great candidate for a variety of households, including those with respectful children who understand puppy manners. He would do best in a home that can provide regular playtime, companionship, and opportunities to continue building positive social skills. For such a young pup, Spud is already making impressive progress with training. He has learned to sit, does wonderfully in his crate, and sleeps through the night for 8 to 9 hours without a peep. He is comfortable being crated for 3 to 4 hours during the day and has been doing very well with house training, remaining accident-free when given regular potty breaks. Spud is also making steady progress on leash walking. With continued consistency and positive reinforcement, this smart little boy will continue growing into a well-mannered companion. If you're looking for a puppy who can keep up with playtime, make friends wherever he goes, and then curl up beside you for a nap, Spud may be the perfect bud! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
