Morning, friend! Fred here.

I'm basically a human trapped in cattle dog form, which explains why I'd rather be your one and only than share the spotlight at daycare.

My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Decatur.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Fred

About Fred

Fred is one of those dogs that looks into your eyes and just gets you. When we took him from the shelter, he knew he couldn't go back. He is sweet, not overly hyper, and thinks of himself as more of a human than a dog. While he lives at a doggy daycare, he would be happiest in a home that he got to be the number one guy in the group ;) If you are interested, please apply at https://savecares.com/adoption-application/
