Zippy’s Pawsport

About Zippy

This pup will be available to meet starting on 10/31This bouncy, happy-go-lucky girl is a little ball of sunshine who believes every day should be filled with fun, friends, and plenty of playtime! Zippy is a playful, outgoing sweetheart with a medium-to-high energy level and a serious zest for life! She's a social butterfly who loves other dogs and would absolutely love a home with a yard to zoom around in and furry friends to share her adventures. Whether she's chasing toys, bouncing around the play yard, or making new friends, Zippy brings excitement and happiness wherever she goes! This clever little lady already knows a few basic commands and is both treat and toy motivated, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training and learning new tricks! She's also a good girl on leash and in her kennel, proving there's plenty of sweetness and smarts behind all that adorable silliness. At just 19 pounds, Zippy is a fantastic smaller-sized companion with a big-dog personality! She'd thrive with an active family who enjoys playtime, outdoor adventures, and a little Border Collie enthusiasm in their daily lives. They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
