Rise and shine — hi! Eakin & One here.
Retriever rules: tennis balls are sacred, puddles are pools, and you are my entire world.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I've been holding down the fort in Broomfield, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Eakin & One

This curious little sweetheart loves exploring every nook and cranny of the yard before trotting over to claim a warm lap. The couple didn't want any harm to come to these sisters and took them in, got them their vaccines, spays, and reached out to MHLM to help get them to Colorado where they'd have a better chance at finding a forever home! They spent a few months on a farm with the older couple getting lots of love!Other Dogs | Great with other dogs!Cats |Children |Training | In progress! Purebred dogs regardless of age are $625. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, transportation to Colorado, and supplies while in foster care (that currently average over $750 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet and greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. We will not respond to emails about animal availability or allow meet and greets without an approved adoption application on file. We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!
