Good morning! Hayden here.

Small, spicy, and fully convinced I'm a Great Dane.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Atlanta.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Hayden

About Hayden

Hayden is a four-month-old rat terrier mix, sibling to Hannah, Henry, Harley, and Harper. She currently weighs about 10 lbs. and is expected to reach 15-20 lbs in adulthood. This long-legged girl is a funny, high-energy puppy with legs made for leaping—and yes, she can jump very high! Hayden is a classic pup: mischievous, endlessly curious, and currently under the impression that the whole world was made for her to chew on. But what truly sets Hayden apart is her comedic timing. When she gets caught in puppy mischief, she immediately pops into a perfect, polite "sit" and hits you with the ultimate sweet "Who, me? I was just sitting here being an angel!" look. She can be a bit nervous when meeting new people at first, but once she warms up and burns off her zoomies, she turns into a total sweetheart who loves to cuddle. Her foster mom has been working on her crate-training and house-training, but she is a baby so she still has a ways to go. Hayden's wish list for her forever home: - A friend to play with: Having a playful canine sibling is ideal to help teach her manners, burn off energy, and give her a cozy buddy to cuddle with. - Patient humans who are around more often than not: She is not yet house trained, though she is doing very well when let out frequently on a consistent schedule. She needs potty breaks every few hours, so she would not be happy left alone 8+ hours a day. - Big kids only: Due to her small size and typical puppy nipping habits, a home without young children is required to keep both Hayden and the kids safe from accidental drops or sharp puppy teeth.
