Hi, new friend! Carrot here.

Herding blood: hand me a task and a hill to survey and I'm the happiest dog alive.

I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.

I've been holding down the fort in Brighton, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Carrot

About Carrot

This sweet, shy gal takes time to warm up but thrives on gentle pets and tasty snacks. Positive reinforcement will help her gain confidence and learn the basics. She’d do best with an experienced owner and kids over 10 who go slow and use fear-free methods—maybe even a confident dog friend to guide her.

Carrot is listed by Adams County Animal Shelter in Brighton, CO. The rescue handles the adoption — Pawsada helps the right family discover Carrot.
