Psst… hi! Waylon here.
I'm a tiny dachshund-chi still finding my confidence, but once you earn my trust, I'll curl up in your lap and show you my sweetest self.
Apparently I'm a quick study — my notes mention I already know a trick or two.
I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.
I'm a Bandera local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Waylon

About Waylon
Welcome Waylon to CCPAL Rescue. Waylon is a 6- pound Chiweenie. That is Dashchund/Chihuahua. He is 10 weeks old. He has the traditional markings of the Dashchund. He has a little longer legs and body. He is good in a crate, likes to be held. He is learning the wee pad and gets toys and treats from our adopters. He will get grooming and nail trims at the rescue so he will be fine with that. He would be a great dog for a lover of this breed. A smaller yard would be fine. He would be fine in a doggy daycare as he is very social. He was found as a stray. He is getting neutered and all his vaccinations at the Rescue. He is ready for his forever home. He would be best in a home with someone that doesn't work all day everyday as he will need to finish up his puppy training. He would also be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in the CCPAL Rescue in Texas. He can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200 to move him to another state. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1869 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!
