I'm all about the simple life—a good nap, a fetch session when I'm feeling it, and your love; my deaf ears just mean I'm never distracted from what matters.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I've been holding down the fort in Wauconda, hoping someone like you would wander by.

About Simba
Introducing Simba, our adorable big guy with an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is friendly, sweet, affectionate, and full of playful energy. Simba is deaf, but that certainly doesn't slow him down. He embraces life to the fullest and approaches each day with enthusiasm and a happy spirit. He does have a naturally protective side, making him a loyal and devoted companion. Because Simba is deaf, he will thrive with an owner who has experience with his breed or someone who is committed to learning positive training techniques that cater to his needs. He is crate trained and is doing a great job continuing his obedience training while learning to walk nicely on a leash. Simba loves spending time with people and is always ready for a game of fetch; playing ball is one of his favorite things. He gets along well with most other dogs but would do best in a home without cats. He loves children; however, due to his large size and playful nature, a home with older kids would be the best fit. If you're looking for a fun-loving, loyal, and affectionate best friend, Simba is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of tennis ball adventures.
