How Pawsada points work
Pawsada runs on points, not cash. You earn points by hosting another member's dog, and spend them when your dog stays with someone else — so care is shared fairly across the network.
Earn by hosting
Welcome a dog into your home and earn points based on the care involved.
Spend on stays
Use points when your dog stays with another host. More involved care costs more points.
Reserved on acceptance
When a host accepts your request, the points are held — so everyone's committed.
Released on completion
After a successful stay, points transfer to the host and both sides leave feedback.
What stays are worth
More involved care earns more points. A standard overnight is the baseline; extras add to it.
| Standard overnight stay(the baseline) | 100 |
| Each additional dog | +50 |
| Puppy care | +25 |
| Senior dog care | +25 |
| Medication administered | +20 |
| Holiday stay | +40 |
| Last-minute request | +30 |
| Extra daily walk | +15 |
| Photo updates | +10 |
| Video updates | +15 |
| Special routine / care instructions | +10–30 |
Cancellation rules
Once a request is accepted, both sides are committed. The same windows apply whether the host or the owner cancels.
| More than 14 days before the stay | No penalty |
| 7–14 days before | 25 points |
| Less than 7 days before | 100 points |
| Less than 48 hours before | 250 points |
Penalty points go to the member who was counting on the stay.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I buy points?
- Points are designed to be earned by hosting, not bought — that's what keeps the network reciprocal and trusted. Hosting a dog is the main way to build a balance.
- Are points the same as money?
- No. Points are a non-cash points currency that recognizes the care members give each other. They have no cash value and aren't a payment for services.
- What happens if someone cancels?
- Cancellations after a request is accepted carry a points penalty that scales with how close to the stay it happens, and those points go to the impacted member where appropriate.
