Oh — hi! Pink Lonestar here.

I'm a tiny girl with a big heart who's learned that love heals almost everything, and I'm ready to show you how much devotion fits in fifteen pounds.

Apparently I'm a quick study — my notes mention I already know a trick or two.

I'm a seasoned soul, which is a fancy way of saying I've perfected the art of the afternoon nap and the grateful sigh.

I've been holding down the fort in Rockaway, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, the Fourth of July could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Pink Lonestar

About Pink Lonestar

Meet Pink – The Tiny Survivor with a Big Personality At 10 years old and just 15 lbs, Pink has already lived through more than most dogs ever should. Rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, she arrived in our care pregnant, malnourished, and in need of immediate help. Sadly, her puppies did not survive after an emergency C-section, but Pink's fight to live—and to thrive—has never wavered. Born with a birth defect called "small eye," and dealing with the toll of years of neglect, Pink needed months of loving care before she was healthy enough to be spayed. Even then, her recovery was slow, and something still didn't seem quite right. After a few days of unusual behavior, her foster mom witnessed what appeared to be seizure activity. Pink was started on seizure medication, which she now takes twice daily—and the good news is, she's been seizure-free for over 3 months! Pink is currently in a loving foster home with other dogs. She definitely likes to be the Queen Bee when first meeting new pups, but she settles in quickly and knows how to share her space. Her favorite things? Walks, car rides, and keeping watch over her home—Pink takes her role as protector seriously and isn't afraid to let you know she's on duty! Despite everything she's endured, Pink is full of life, love, and a little bit of sass. She's looking for a forever home that will cherish her golden years, keep her on her meds, and treat her like the tiny royalty she is. If you're looking for a loyal, spunky companion with a survivor's heart, Pink is your girl. Pink is microchipped, spayed, up to date on vaccines and her adoption fee is $205. She is about 10 years old and weighs 15 lbs. Apply to adopt PINK LONESTAR at www.ehrdogs.org
