Psst… hi! Petey here.
I won't fib — I've got a little grey on my muzzle. But being older just means I'm past the wild puppy stuff and all about cozy company and slow, happy mornings.

The rescue’s notes on Petey
Petey is an approximately eight to nine year old male Chihuahua mix. He is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. Petey gets along with the other dogs at our shelter. He loves to spend time outdoors (weather permitting) playing with his shelter buddies. Petey is quite shy with people but as he gets used to you, he will "flirt" a bit with you by dancing around you and shyly coming up to take a treat from your hand. Treats are Petey's favorite and definitely help him warm up to new people. Petey may never be a lap dog, but that's ok! He is still a happy little guy who can bring a lot of joy to a family who will love and accept him just the way he is. If you would like to help a small dog in need, please consider meeting Petey!
