I'm a shy boy who's been waiting so long for someone patient enough to let me come out of my shell at my own pace, and I promise my quiet love is worth the gentleness you'll give.

My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.

I'm a seasoned soul, which is a fancy way of saying I've perfected the art of the afternoon nap and the grateful sigh.

About Mango

Meet Mango! Mango came to us in 2020 as a partner transfer when he was at risk of euthanasia due to lack of shelter space. Since then, he has been patiently waiting for a home of his own. Mango is a sweet, quiet, and gentle boy, but he is very shy. He's not the dog that will come running up for attention—in fact, he'll usually try to hide when meeting new people. He has never shown any aggression and has never tried to bite. He simply needs a patient adopter who will give him time to build trust and gain confidence. Mango does great with other dogs and would enjoy a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace. He will need help with basic training and learning the routines of home life. Because he is timid, he will need a securely fenced yard and should be walked on a leash until trust and a routine have been established. Mango is neutered, vaccinated, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. Adoption fee is $300.
