Hi, new friend! Suzie here.

I've mastered the art of the perfect couch afternoon, though I confess a suspicious fondness for laser pointers—clearly someone made a clerical error in my paperwork.

Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.

I'm a San Francisco local, just waiting on the right person.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

Who knows — by Labor Day I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.

Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Suzie

About Suzie

Meet sweet Suzie! Have you ever seen a cuter little face?? This little 10-lb cuddle bug is a true best friend: loyal, affectionate, and with so much love to give. Suzie is just happy to spend time with her favorite human friends, no matter what the activity is- whether its hiking, shopping, enjoying a morning coffee on a cafe patio, or cuddling up on the couch together under a blanket (her absolute favorite), Suzie will be wagging her tail, just thrilled to be by your side. Suzie is quite shy and requires patience as she warms up to new people, but once she opens up, she is extremely affectionate and playful and will follow you everywhere. She loves squeaky toys, and her passion for laser pointers indicates she is possibly part cat. Suzie is crate trained, house trained, food motivated and eager to please. She is good on her leash and easy to take along on errands, and even to dog-friendly offices! Though she'd definitely prefer a home where her human friends are often around, she does fine by herself, and is able to roam the house quietly and non-destructively. She's truly a perfect little bestie. Suzie would blossom in an adults-only home where she is the apple of everyone's eyes, and can receive further basic and behavioral training. Suzie needs to be the only dog in the home, but is neutral about cats. Adoptions in the SF Bay Area, Meet-and-greets in the East Bay. Apply now and meet Suzie and fall in love.
