Couldn't sleep either? Hi. Bug here.

I might seem serious at first glance, but once you're my person, I'll shadow your every move and shower you with the softest cuddles you've ever felt.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I've been holding down the fort in St. Paul, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Bug

About Bug

Bug may look like a tough cookie, but inside she's a soft, snuggly sweetheart who adores her humans. At 5 years-old and 45 pounds, this Staffordshire Bull Terrier starts her day by greeting you with cuddles and then promptly moving on to the next person to let them have a turn.Bug is a great roommate — she’s house-trained and crate-trained, treating her kennel as a safe space. She adjusted quickly to her new foster home, happy to explore. She's happiest when keeping you company through your daily routine, and will do best with humans who are home often. Bug is very protective and shows some reactive behaviors, so she is working with a professional trainer. In the meantime, she cannot live in a home with other dogs, cats, or young children.Don’t let her short legs fool you — she’s fast, agile, and lives for a good game of fetch. She will require a home that has a yard (even a small one with a low fence) where she can burn off energy in short bursts. At the end of the day, she's happy to play with her favorite rubber ball that she chews like a piece of gum and watch nighttime TV, or as she sees it, uninterrupted petting time. She’s incredibly expressive, leans into every pet, and even smiles when she’s especially content. Her bark might surprise you — it’s deep and protective — but it only comes out when she’s alerting you to something unusual. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, a cuddle bug, and a low-rider athlete with a gummy ball and a smile, Bug might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in Bug, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450.
