Hi, new friend! Rosie here.
I follow you from room to room because you are my entire world, and I'm ready to be yours if you'll have me.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Mundelein.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Rosie

About Rosie
Rosie is a sweet little Yorkie with a heart full of love and a gentle soul to match. This social butterfly absolutely adores her people and loves making new friends—both human and canine! She does wonderfully with kids, enjoys meeting everyone she can, and is happiest when she's close to the people she loves most. Whether she's joining you for a neighborhood stroll, soaking up cuddles on the couch, or simply following you from room to room, Rosie's devotion shines through in everything she does.Rosie enjoys her daily walks, especially when the weather is cooler. On warmer days, she tends to slow down a bit, which is common for small dogs like Yorkies—especially since Rosie has been diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. A collapsed trachea is a condition often seen in small breeds where the airway becomes narrowed, causing coughing or sensitivity with heat, excitement, or overexertion. With management, like avoiding too much heat and using a harness instead of a collar, many dogs with this condition continue to live happy, loving lives—and Rosie is proof of that.Rosie bonds deeply with her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around often, or with another friendly dog to help keep her company. She isn't a fan of being left alone for long periods and truly just wants to love and be loved. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily snuggle up beside you and become your little shadow, Rosie may be a great match.
