Psst… hi! Indigo here.
I'm basically a furry tornado with an off switch, mostly activated by your lap and a good rope toy.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Santa Clara.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Indigo

About Indigo
Indigo is a very puppy-like boy with lots of energy. He's sweet, curious, and playful, and loves games like fetch and tug of war with his rope. He enjoys having access to an outdoor patio where he can relax and soak up the sun, and he's great at keeping himself entertained. He was very excited and playful when meeting a neighbor dog, and on walks he can get overly excited when he sees cats, squirrels, or other dogs. He may bark, but it's mostly excitement and curiosity. Once he burns off that energy, Indigo is all about the cuddles. He loves curling up on your lap while you're working or snuggling on the couch during a movie. He's very food motivated and even enjoys some fresh fruits and veggies like apple, and celery. Energy Level? Medium -high House trained? yes Describe how they are on a leash? He's good on leash overall, but could use a little continued training as he can pull on walks when he gets excited and happy. Describe how they are with other dogs? He seems fine with the limited exposure he's had; excited Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?cats/squirrels = VERY excited/curious Commands they know? Stay (mostly) while waiting to cross the street. We started working on 'sit'. What are their favorite things? Indigo loves toys he can chew on and play fetch with, and having space to run and get his zoomies out. After an adjustment period, he's very food-motivated. He's good on leash but could use some work on calming down during walks, as he gets excited and happy. He hasn't been tested being left alone yet. He sleeps in a crate with the door closed and goes right in at night, especially when there's a roasted chicken treat waiting for him. What is their ideal home? I think he'd like other dogs to play with. Not sure how he is around children, but he might do well if they're as playful as he is. He's very affectionate and loves attention. Took one short car trip and was a little nervous, but he seems to be a quick learner so think a few more trips and he'd be fine. The Adoption fee is $325.
