Hi, new friend! PISTOL here.
I'm a big fellow with a bigger heart who's figured out most things already—sit, stay, your schedule—though I'll need you to understand that trust, like a good walk, takes its own sweet time.
They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I'm a Seattle local, just waiting on the right person.

About PISTOL
Meet PISTOL, a handsome and adorable Alaskan Malamute boy looking for his furever home. He may be a mixed breed, but has the Malamute mask, big paws and big personality. Pistol is so smart, loves to learn,and very easy to train. Loves to run and play but always comes back to sit with his foster mum. Watches everything going on around him. A real sweetheart. He will come to whomever takes him but it will take a while for him to trust them. He relies on Tilly his litter mate, a lot for security. He is leash trained but only if you go where he wants to go. Knows to sit and wait for treats versus grabbing for them. Pistol is learning to ride in a car and does well with the motion. He is c rate trained and on his way to being potty trained. He has a few accidents and will try to let you know when he needs to go out. Pistol and his litter mates were recently found in Eastern Washington. They were rescued and brought into foster homes where they are beginning their puppy training. Unfortunately, someone docked their tails but otherwise they are healthy, happy and full of energy. He will have all his vaccinations and is already altered, ready for his new home soon.
