Birch is an extremely timid and sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. New people and environments can be very overwhelming for her, and she will need time, space, and a gentle approach to begin building trust. She would greatly benefit from living with a calm, confident dog who can help guide her and show her that things arenât so scary. Birch looks to other dogs for reassurance and gains confidence from their presence. Birch is looking for a very patient and understanding home that will allow her to move at her own pace without pressure. While she may take time to come out of her shell, with consistency, kindness, and support, Birch has the potential to grow into a deeply loyal and loving companion.
