Well, hello! Cassio here.

I'm a quiet observer at first, but once I know you're safe, I bloom into an affectionate shadow who leans against your legs and dreams of lap time with someone patient enough to understand me.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.

I'm a Oakland local, just waiting on the right person.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

Who knows — by Labor Day I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Cassio

About Cassio

Cassio – Wiggly, Affectionate, and Full of Charm Cassio is a 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 41 pounds with a delightful waggy personality and a big love for human attention. Enthusiastic walking buddy: Cassio may pull excitedly at the start of walks, but is easy to handle due his manageable size. Extra affectionate: It doesn't take long for Cassio to hop up with his front paws on your legs, gazing up for attention and possibly sneaking in a quick face lick. He also loves leaning against people or stretching out across a lap for butt scratches. Playful and easygoing: Cassio can happily entertain himself with a plush toy and enjoys gentle play with other dogs in doggie playgroup. Social sweetheart: His waggy, people-loving personality shines through in nearly every interaction, making him a fun and affectionate companion. Cassio would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
