The rescue’s notes on Josie (Bonded with Samantha)
Samantha and Josie are a bonded pair of Dachshund mixes who must be adopted together. Samantha, around 20 pounds, is missing one eye but is loving and affectionate once she trusts you, though she may bark around strangers at first. Josie, around 25 pounds, was shy when she arrived but has blossomed with patience and now enjoys the company of her people and other dogs. Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and have received the ProHeart 12 injection; they are crate trained, enjoy companionship and cuddles, and thrive in calm homes with patient people. Josie is still working on potty training. They have not been tested with children or cats.
